Blackjack Hall Of Fame
The blackjack hall of fame was created to honor the world's greatest
blackjack players. Housed at the Barona Casino in San Diego,
California, it was year 2002 when the committees decided to vote for
the blackjack all of fames. The voting access is available for
everybody via Internet for several weeks. It was January, 2003 when the
hall of famers is finally revealed. In this voting process there are
seven members whom selected from the original blackjack hall of fame.
Wondering who are they? As you read this article I will reveal to you
one by one who they are.
Let�s start with Al Francesco and he becomes popular because of his
natural luck, and outstanding ability towards the game. And because of
that he created a team for seven card players and later profit from big
player tactics.
Another one of the hall of famer is Peter Griffin. Who is Peter
Griffin? He is the one who exposed a course about mathematics and
gambling, but after just awhile he started on loosing the game and
decided to step back and rethink his research and he use all the
resources he has and all of his knowledge to know and study the
probabilities of blackjack. Then, after he discovers those things he
wrote a book about it in 1979.
After reading a book about playing blackjack as a business, which was
written by Lawrence Revere, Thomas Hyland decided to play blackjack and
because of the knowledge he learned from the book he created a team of
four players to play for Atlantic City Casino�s. However, this team was
arrested because of cheating, but the judge thinks differently when he
heard all the testimonies and decided to rule under Hyland�s favor.
Another one of the seven original member of the blackjack hall of fame
is Arnold Snyder, and he develops his authority by calculating the
importance of deck penetration when playing at a blackjack table.
Let�s not forget to mention Edward Oakley Thorp who is an American
professor and used his knowledge, as a professor, to determine the
house advantage in blackjack. He also used some methods he developed to
win at roulette.
Ken Uston is one of the original members of blackjack hall of fame and
he is known to be a master of disguise, well he learned to disguise
himself because he was banned in almost every casino and why he was
banned? He is banned in almost every casino because of some methods
that he used.
Wonging is a method developed by Standford Wong wherein a player steps
in and out of the game depending on the advantage of the player or
house. Because of this method many Casino revised their gaming rules.
Maybe there are some of you who already familiar with these names, most
especially those people who is aware about blackjack. I believe that
there are some of you who already adore one of these guys because of
their tactics when it comes to blackjack. Well, I totally agree that
these people deserve to be voted on blackjack hall of fame because of
the knowledge and tactics that they used.
